Intelligent Height Pre-Warning System is a set of intelligent system integrating real-time monitoring, data analysis and pre-warning. The system mainly utilizes the High Precision and real-time monitoring capability of LiDAR to monitor the height of vehicles, which are passing over viaducts or tunnels. When the over-height vehicles approach the height pre-warning road pole, the system can quickly respond to the over-height vehicles that are about to pass the height limit section with alarm prompts to avoid accidents.

The detection equipment of system needs to be assembled at a height of 5m. The range of the 2D LiDAR LakiBeam is 0~50m, which satisfying clients' needs for ranging. And compared to 3D LiDAR, LakiBeam has low power consumption and can be powered directly by the solar panel assembled on the road rod.

Equipment Assembly
The LiDAR scanner is assembled vertically on the solar monitoring rod, which is set at 3m in front of a height-limiting gantry. When a vehicle passes by, the LiDAR calculates the height of the vehicle, and when the height of the vehicle exceeds the limit height, the system carries out an alarm prompt.
